Every year, different e-governance thought leaders from different states have set benchmarks by carving out a new path on the road to better governance using technology.
Thanks to India’s thrust on technology, India’s e-governance leaders have created a series of platforms for innovation. From Aadhaar to UPI to GSTN to COWIN to ONDC, India is constantly raising the bar for e-governance by launching scalable platforms that can have a transformational impact on India’s growth.
Consider the scale: In March this year, UPI breached 5 billion transactions in a month; the CoWIN platform has facilitated and monitored administration of more than 1.92 billion vaccination doses; telemedicine platform e-Sanjeevani has benefited more than 390 million beneficiaries.
This is an exciting time for India, as the country has the opportunity to build a solid digital foundation for every sector that will help it improve productivity and efficiencies in a huge way. At Express Computer, we are excited to showcase exemplary success stories from central and state departments, and share best practices from government thought leaders, in this edition that is dedicated to the innovators and leaders in e-governance.
